Ground station
The ground station consists of two parts: amateur band operation and scientific band operation. In amateur band, the station is composed of a Kenwood TS-2000X transceiver for uplink and downlink, LNA for 435MHz, bandpass filter and X-Quad antenna with switchable polarization in vertical, horizontal, right circular and left circular. The IARU assigned frequency is 437.405MHz and telemetry is ax.25 at 1200baud, FSK.
The scientific band operation consists of an Airspy SDR receiver for the downlink, LNA and yagi antenna for 400MHz.
Both radiating elements are driven by an Az/El rotor and software tracking control.
